Krakonos in cooperation with a water club Loko Trutnov, Sokol Harta Vrchlabi, EKC (Extreme Kazak Club) and CNAWR (Czech National Association of Whitewater Rodeo) set up a second race of Czech Cup in Kayak cross. The race was held in the centre of Vrchlabi on the river-part called Vrchlabi gap.

All kayakers interested in representation of CZ on the World Championship met together at Plattling on Saturday 4th. We firstly planned to run our qualification race at Kuchl but through to the massive level of water there we were forced to move it to Plattling. Thanks to a 2-metres-high water level there, Plattling offered us a decent wave. It was sunny all the day, water was fine and we were just about to start our race.
We contested in 2 “mini” competitions throughout the day. One was on the wave on the right river bank and the other one on the left – in the hole. We used session system and everyone paddled 2 rides in both races.

We are working hard to get the Prague Worldcup just right for you and we are looking forward to meeting all of you here.

Dear friends and courageous paddlers,
In cooperation with CNAWR, we prepared for you the first year of an extreme kayakcross and slalom competition. The competition takes place from the 31.8. – 1.9. 2007 on the river Moldau (Vltava) on the well known rapid – Devil´s cataract. All proffesionals are invited as well as other paddlers. Flawless paddling, action alpine superpipe start, great party with DJ Happy and Dj Eja, mixed drinks, sunny weather and warm water (21° C) guaranteed.

The Czech Open Whitewater Freestyle Championship takes place on the 11th and 12th of August in Prague on the slalom course Troja. Apart form the freestyle competition there will be other races like: Traditional Funslalom, KayakX without a paddle, Team race, Big Air ramp contest…etc! This will be one hell of a whitewater festival, GREAT party all day long, prizes… Everybody is more than welcome. Lots of fun for both paddlers and „normal“ people.

As you all might have noticed, the location of Eurocup events has been often speculated on. It was a bit chaotic and nothing was certain as usual.

Prague - Trója, 25.-27. 8. 2006

After slalom World Championship, Prague slalom course in Trója will set up Czech freestyle white water Championship.
Moreover we will compete for honour of “Champion of Trója”. This title will obtain that competitor who will be place best in all disciplines. Beside holeriding it will be Kayak X, mixed group Kayak X and throw with your boat!
